Our Caregivers are the Cream of the Crop

The Senior’s Choice is the nation’s largest network of independent senior care providers. We strive to ensure a better quality of life for elderly clients and their families by providing dependable and affordable in-home assisted living and care. Personalized services are available seven days a week and can range from a few hours a day to 24-hour and live-in care. Our members provide you with highly qualified and trained caregivers who are ready to help you and your loved ones with a variety of daily activities, such as:

  • Caring companionship
  • Meal planning and preparation
  • Incidental transportation
  • Running errands
  • Light housekeeping
  • Medication reminders
  • Monitoring of safety while bathing
  • Assistance with bill paying
  • Information and referral services
  • And much more

Personalized services are available seven days a week and can range from a few hours a day to 24-hour and live-in care. Our members seek to serve seniors and the chronically disabled who aren’t ready to leave their home for an institutional setting or to live with relatives, but because of illness or chronic conditions need support to remain at home. Our members help these people with simple activities that are exhausting for them. This enables them to save their energy for the important things in life, such as connecting with friends or family, taking a short walk, or reading a good book.

Many times, caring for a client involves family, so we also play a role in providing respite for the family caregiver (i.e., a wife caring for a husband or a daughter/son caring for her/his parents). Constant caregiving can bring considerable stress, because the caregiver’s focus is centered on the one needing care. Very often, we see that when we give relief with daily routines, allowing the family caregiver(s) more time for themselves, the relationship strengthens.

The Senior’s Choice caregivers are the cream of the crop. They are totally committed, highly qualified and carefully selected individuals who are thoroughly screened, bonded and insured. Most importantly, they are dependable and extraordinarily caring of others. We can say this because each of our member businesses follows a strict process for recruiting, hiring, training, and managing caregivers that ensures the highest quality in the industry.

The Senior’s Choice members are committed to providing their clients with the most professional caregivers in the senior care industry. In order to ensure this, we look for warm, honest, caring people and then we help them boost their skills to become the best the industry has to offer. Our caregivers have access to our exclusive Certified Companion Aide (CCA®) and Certified Hospice Companion Aide (CHCA®) programs. The CCA® designation elevates their knowledge and status in the industry and instills in them the highest standards of caregiver professionalism. The CHCA® specialized training program was designed by a hospice nurse and educates caregivers on death and dying, how to assist patients and hospice nurses with end of life care and prepares them for the emotional consequences of caring for the terminally ill.

No other senior care organization offers such comprehensive training programs. Clients can trust The Senior’s Choice CCA’s® and CHCA's® to perform their duties with professionalism and dedication while they help clients maintain independence and treat them and their loved ones with the dignity and respect that they deserve.

Does your loved one deserve this superior care? Of course they do. So here’s what you need to do:

Request an Interview – We start the process of helping you and/or your loved one by conducting an in-depth assessment of your (or your loved one’s) lifestyle, medical conditions, and the kind of assistance that will help them to remain independent at home. A member of The Senior’s Choice in your area will meet with you and your family and jointly determine the scope of care. During the meeting, the available services will be fully explained, all of your questions will be answered, and you’ll be assisted with all of the important care decisions faced by a family with a loved one in need.

Some of the topics we will discuss with you during this assessment include:

  • Matching the appropriate caregivers
  • Daily routines
  • Health and medication
  • Emergency response
  • Nutritional issues
  • Home cleaning issues
  • Transportation
  • Costs of services
